There's nothing like a cozy night in playing a good video game. It's a way to turn your brain off while also engaging it- somewhere in between active and passive. Like watching a film or reading a book, mixed with taking a quiz and testing your hand-eye coordination. One of the best feelings in the world is knowing that you have nothing to do that evening, so you get to do nothing but game. Nobody will bother you and you can stay up as long as you'd like to. 

You can spend hours getting lost in the annals of your game of choice, completely giving yourself over to its world, its rules, and its way of life. You are that medieval soldier. You are that nuclear apocalypse survivor. You are that little Italian plumber. It's a way to cast off the shackles of your own personality and to be released into someone else's for a while.

  • We can't always have the perfect gaming night, though. Sometimes we must go to work, commute, go to the bathroom, or otherwise live our lives. This is where gaming memes come in.
